Tomorrow I will go to London for the Jools Holland Show. I will travel with Mark Bell and the brass girls, but also with my nine year old daughter!

I will blog about the show very soon, but for now I’m publishing a photo I took from the stage in Vancouver. It was still daylight when we went on stage so the audience can be seen unusually well. When I took the photo Björk was singing Army of Me.

Hey! So do you enjoy performing the show at night or in the day? I can only imagine how the energy of the crowd reflects on you guys when you come on stage: my knees would most likely break. The energy in the crowd is great, almost too great in Coachella: eak. United Palace gig was way more calm: delicious!

    Dramatically awesome keys,

    Peace

i cant believe i got out of there, i was at the front, but there were these people that were very rude so i had to leave and go in the middle(which sounded and felt better), but i never realized how huge that crowd was, thanx for taking this shot, i can see me but for somereason i cant see you, i hope you had a wonderful time being able to see the crowd, and i wish ya all the best for jools holland,
ps. i have to ask, how was it performing and being able to see the crowd?

pss. are you allowed to say what you are performing at jools, or is that top secret?

psss. would you and the whole band ever consider doing a reality tv show, and have all these dramatic staged fights while touring?

    pssss. YOU ROCK!!!

    What a beautiful crowd!

Well, one gets used to the crowd after a while. However, a certain amount of nervousness is necessary for optimal performance, I think.

I don’t know if I’m allowed to reveal what we are playing at the JH. When in doubt, I keep silent!

I hope I’m not offending anyone, but reality shows are not my cup of tea.

haha, i was actually kust kidding about the reality show thing, but what a BROADWAY SHOW!!!

n69n: Fantastic artwork! I’m a columnist for an Icelandic newspaper, writing about the tour. Do I have your permission to present the picture with my next column?
