I’m still in Paris… This morning the M-key of my laptop broke loose and I’m unable to attach it back. So I’ll have to get my computer fixed before the European leg of the tour starts, which for me is next Thursday. But as my hotel is far from IBM in Paris (I use an IBM Thinkpad) I’m going to wait till Monday. In the meantime, I’ll have to write as few Ms as possible! Or simply skip them…
Some people associated with the tour without Ms in their names:
Shaun Artin
Eester Fly (Easterfly?)
Daian Taylor (congrats on your recent wedding!!!)
Ark Bell
Atthew Barney
Björk Guðundsdóttir
And a few songs:
I Iss You
Cover E
Other Heroic
What else?

Now, THAT is funny! Jesus…
June 15th, 2007 at 7:21 pm
LOL. There’s a similar joke in Spanish, specially because X can sound /sh/ (as in shop), /h/ (as in happy), /s/ (as in soap), /ch/ (as in chip). So no one ever know how to pronounce a LOT of words!!!

Aw, poor you! But it’s funny how a missing M does make a difference. How are you enjoying Paris? How’s the weather at this time of year? Hope you get your computer fixed soon!

As I see it it depends on what you use your computer for. So far I haven’t had a reason to buy a Mac. Surely if I were to start using Logic Express, but so far that hasn’t been something I have needed to do. The only music programme I use is Sibelius, which works fine on a PC.
Apparently watching DVDs from different regions, i.e. having a region free DVD is a lot simpler on a PC. And since I travel a lot and do watch a lot of films on my laptop, a PC is my choice.
June 17th, 2007 at 12:41 am
I had no problem with the cross-DVD region on my Mac. Ironically the film was “Destricted,” a project by 7 artist on their views on porn: Matthew Barney, Larry Clark, and many other great filmmakers were on it. But I do understand what you are saying. I’m in film school so Macs play a big role in the video world so it works great for me; However, I really love the smooth operating system.
PS: Tell Apple Corey sent you.
Hah (just kidding)
O, laughter…

Well, you can also install Windows on a Mac but that is maybe another story. Next time you are looking for a laptop it is worth looking at one ;).

Hello,
today i saw the gig at the Jools Holland show, where ya performed “Declare Independance” (great)… and I couldnt trust my eyes… an “Reactable” on stage?! If never seen before, that someone used it at a Konzert…who plays it?
Greetz from Germany/Cologne
Cya in Madrid at the “Plaza de Toros Las Ventas”

I had read the Jules Holland comment too. Someone who worked there at the studio had remarked that she was rude to several of the fans.
Sometimes I think people want to start something just to gain some personal connection that probably never existed to begin with. It must be odd for artists/celebrities to deal with so many fans wanting to have these experiences because somehow they think their lives will be complete as a result of them.
Jonas- What is the strangest experience you have ever had with a fan ? I would love to start a thread with this….God knows what stories will come out of it.
