Yesterday I had lunch with Damian and two brass girls, Erla and Bergrún, in the center of the village where we are at present located. It was wonderful to see some of the village… I’m so excited to be in Poland, a country I have never visited before.

Damian helped me to set up a MySpace page in the hotel lobby after our lunch and it was so much fun I nearly forgot we had a concert in the evening. I see that Mark Bell/LFO has already sent in a comment on the page: “How was it for you?”

As everyone knows this is a common question after sex, but Mark always asks me this after a show. And the answer I gave him last night was this: “GREAT!” It was a terrific audience and I think we performed quite OK. At least I enjoyed myself to the utmost. I remember thinking at one point that I’m going to miss doing this when the tour is over.

Today we will take it easy, but tonight we go back on the road. This time we will travel to Copenhagen and I’m thrilled to go there. I haven’t been in there since I was three.

I have only one memory of Copenhagen. It was in December and I was walking with my father somewhere in the city center. I saw a man dressed in a white cat costume and my father said teasingly: “This is the Christmas Cat.” In Icelandic folklore the Christmas Cat is a demon who eats unfortunate children who don’t get any clothes for christmas present.

Needless to say I was terrified…

so the vancouver crowd wasnt good enough gor you eh >:(, nah just kidding, is that one short girl in the blue pants part of your group? (i dont think so, but you cant be too sure), i cant believe i am going to the amsterdam show, it doesnt make alot of sense since i live near vancouver,
i geuss its not a festival show so i can only imagine the setlist will have on or two really cool old songs

but damian looks really really tall or are those girls just short?
any ways, glad you had a nice gig and hope that me going to amsterdam works out

  2. Jónas Sen says:

No, she is not a part of the group! And yes, Damian is VERY tall.

  3. mathew says:

i wonder if he is as tall as Antony because he is SOOOOoo tall, Bjork looked like a little bug next to him

it’s really interesting how stories change in different parts of the world hehe

anyway, i hope you’re all having lots of fun, it’s really nice that you can look around the places you’re touring, especially with a crew that seems to be so much fun to hang out with!

Thanks for setting up a myspace page it can get pretty addicting the first week or two. Glad your able to go around the world and soak it all in. I never been on tour myself but I remeber Björk saying that a person just off is a bit socially retarded, you get used to this burst of energy at least 3-5 times a week and when it comes to chilling at home you feel big time antsy. Christmas Cat story was a little freaky but a good way to keep kids in line. lol I remeber in the Tim Allen movie The Santa Clause P stood for presents if you were good and C for clothes a modern update on coal. I hope the tour continues to unfold in many great ways.

I`m so glad it was “GREAT” for you, I did my best ;D

Due to a festival nature polish audience were very mixed and not all were there for Bjork. Sadly for me. But you made them raise their flags higher and higher! :) I will never forget Hyperballad, Pluto and Declare Independance. And your foolin around with bjork on the stage! :) She seemed pleased and that makes me really happy. If she weren`t please don`t burst the bubble ;)

Oh, and it looks like you were visiting Sopot, the place where Bjork made her show in 2003.
Was Bjork there with you? My friend says she saw her in Sopot with her family eating fishes ;)
My friend is aware how Bjork hates to be interrupted during her private time, so she didn`t ;)

Thanks again for perfect concert, Poland will remember that for very long time.
