I have now been in Iceland for ten days. I have mostly “kept a low profile”, basically staying at home and not doing much, except writing a very long article that will appear in an Icelandic cultural magazine, Tímarit Máls og menningar.
I met a few members of the Volta group in a party yesterday at Björk’s place. And Ghostigital was there! Everybody seemed VERY relaxed.
I’m still a bit disoriented. Occasionally I wake up in the middle of the night, not knowing where I am. And I repeatedly dream that I’m somewhere on my journeys. But I don’t mind!

It’s in Icelandic! And Icelandic is about as rare as Enochian.

I’m going to ask you at the end of the tour what your favourite place was. Is there an Icelandic translator function on computers or do you have to have a program?

If there is an Icelandic translator function, I don’t use one.
As to my favorite place so far: I can’t name one! We have been to so many great, interesting places! But I do wish we had stayed longer in San Francisco. Vancouver was also great, and Chicago. And I especially loved Poland. Visiting Gdansk was amazing. And many other places as well.
I do look forward to South America!

Also there are little gadgets called “Genius” Or at least that’s one company that makes seemingly the majority of these doohickies. Anyhow, they come in a variety of models, Usually having half a dozen languages or so which can be translated any which way. My girlfriend is Japanese, and actually during her last visit left the thing here. perhaps I should go and find it and see if hers has iselandic on it. Though i am pretty sure hers doesn’t. Most Japanese have little use for this language. Sad because I suspect iselandics and People from Nippon (Japan) have alot in common. Back to the point. These are great little gadgets, and because they are the size of a large wallet, and as thin as a calculator. It helped us alot early on in our relationship when her English was minimal. Ok I am rambling… I would suspect in some northern European countries they may have the “Genius” with Icelandic. If anyone finds one please let me know, as I would love to go to iseland one day and talk the talk while I get trashed in a locan pub.
