I have been systematically relaxing since our concert in Paris, which I didn’t enjoy enough because of nervousness, even though it was a good concert in itself. So I have been refraining from watching 24! Instead, I have been reading, taking walks, meditating, etc.
It paid off tonight, for I felt wonderful on stage on the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland.
Afterwards, some of us took a private jet to Glasgow, where I’m now. Being on a private jet was a new experience for me. I felt a bit claustrophobic, but had great fun nonetheless. Damian took this really stupid photo of me after we had landed:

Hi, Jónas! I’m glad I can finally comment here! (Before I was too lazy to register!)…
And I was so near of you!
Since 2 months I wanted to say THANK to all of you for the wonderful concert in Amsterdam (do you remember that concert after experienced so many of them?)… I have to say, I loved the end of Oceania, when you and Björk made a kind of dance together…
Let me tell you, I’m from Chile, and hear Björk’s music since 10 years… She was in Chile in 1998, but I couldn’t go to see her (because I used to lived far away from Santiago, where the concert was), so it was a big dream to get to see her live one day… and this year it became true… it was a wonderful day!
Right now, I live in Germany (how come you not come to Germany? Not one little concert here!), but I’m travelling to Chile in October, and there’s a BIG rumour about you all going to play in Chile in November 10th… (it’s not totally senseless, because you’ll be in Argentina then)… Can you tell me “I haven’t hear we are going to Chile”, or “I heard something about it, but it’s not sure”, or better “yes!!! we are so going to play there!”, or whatever… :o)
Maybe you (Björk and the musician) are the last knowing where are you gonna play in a couple of months… but maybe you know something…
If you are playing in Santiago, I’ll be there for sure! And if you are not, it will be a pity, but at least I’ll have wonderful memories from July 8th in Amsterdam…
BTW, it’s nice to read your blog! See you!

It’s not a stupid picture because it’s the first time I’ve seen you smile in a picture.
Smile on myspace, too.

Good to hear you had some time to relax Jónas in France to boot! The book you posted about seems very interesting and a good deep end of summer read. Didn’t know you meditated do you have a specific type that you practice? Also the pic is fun and everyone looks a little dazed just after landing. Hope Ireland is great in both concerts and thing to do.

hey Jonas, Glasgow is my city, i hope everything is to ur satisfaction:P, you hitting any pubs? If u’ve got time u should go to Kelvingrove Museum, it’s a great place to relax. My girlfriend and i are hoping to catch the gig at Inverary, we’re coming especially to see you guys, what time do u hit the stage? I’ve been trying to find stage times all day without any luck so ur my last hope. Thing is we’re both working on Monday (we’re both teachers) and as u’ll find out, Inverary isn’t exactly an easy place to drive to and from ha ha, beautiful surroundings though. It’s about a two hour drive for us. See u there.

Peopel invading privacy is quiet a big of a stress and i guess it coud be contagious, although i don t know if this is the case.
Anyhow, i am glad things get back into place, if you feel stressed before a show i woud recomend the movie Baraka.
If i have had a Long-streesfull day at work i normally play classical music or play this film. It s a Must if you haven t seen it, together with some of the movies you can find here: http://www.spiritofbaraka.com/
Take care (I finally made it commenting on this page/emails were send to Spam folder)

the thing is, Jónas, that the tour page gets updated way too late. It gets difficult for people in other countries to find out about concerts in or near their areas. For example tickets in Argentina were sold out more then two weeks before the concerts appeared on the official tour page. I think that’s why everyone have been insisting a lot for information about the concerts(especially in south america and those who have to travel to reach the venues).
