Somebody asked in one of the comments here what happened to Wanderlust on the Virgin Festival. The answer is that we had a technical problem, the beats weren’t in the right place so everybody got thrown off track.

The same happened in a few songs on last night’s concert in the Fox Theatre in Detroit. Earth Intruders was just WRONG and the beats weren’t right in Joga. I’m not sure why, maybe because there was a new Moon in Virgo!!!

Many of the songs were OK though. Björk sang Desired Constellation for the first time on the tour and it was a treat!

We are in Nashville now. It is rather hot and I don’t feel like going out. Tonight we continue our journey on the bus (yes, we are back on the sleeping coaches) to Austin. It is a sixteen hours drive, no less!

It is designed for a 110 but they plugged in 220 instead. They have fixed it since!

Is it the same bus driver who carry you on the places you go in the USofA?

Hmmm…Sorry the music gremlins seem to be working mischief on tour though you are right about Desired Constellation being a treat. Do you think it just all the equpiment is under stress from touring or it has anything to due with the venues? Any way the whole Björk team is doing great so we know that its not something to get stressed about, besides whats a tour for Volta without something unpredictable happening! :)

I would have loved to heard Desired Constellation….Mouth’s Cradle, Triumph of a Heart, or Verandi would be also be spectacular. What is your favorite Volta and non-Volta song to play lately? Sorry if this question has been asked before.

    Jonas,

I hope you read these comments; Last night in Detroit, If you remember Bjork coming to the edge of the stage and telling someone “stop!”, it was me. I had my camera taking a bit of video…Please let Bjork know that I am deeply sorry to have upset her. I didn’t realize you couldn’t take video…

I’m not trying to justify it, The main thing is that I just want her to know I’m sorry. Really, I am. The video was deleted and WILL NOT be posted anywhere. I promise. I respect her and her work profoundly.

    Please let her know.

Another fantastic performance, the glitches notwithstanding, you can read my review in the Gigography. I was really surprised that your tour came to our unglamourous Detroit. So what happened in the begining of Pleasure Is All mine, when Bjork wallked up to someone in the crowd and we could hear her say ’stop’? Also, Jonas do you actually read the music scores you carried out with you while you are playing, or do you just have them for insurance in case you forget?

I LOVE YOU JONAS, and I Love BJORK, and honor all the people making this spectacular production happen. I really want to share my honest feedback, keep it less saccharine and more balanced. Truth AND love.

I’m not going to watch the entire performance through a camera, as I’m there for the experience, but I love to see videos and photos other people take from their different perspectives at a show.

I empathise with Bjork’s reluctance to be bootleged or distracted by greedy voyuerism and the fact that there is a no camera policy, but I wish you guys who are on the stage could return the empathy, and cut us some slack, or put out a live tour DVD!
What happened to the pirate flaG?
