Here is a video I shot on stage in Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately it is a bit short…

Thanks! So neat to see things form your point of view.
    How is it being home?

  2. Jen Goes Digital says:

    That…was crazy!

  3. Romain says:

The MSG looks a bit little, not so huge as I imagined !

  4. Jónas Sen says:

That’s because my camera doesnt reach that far back in the dark. Believe me, it is HUGE.

  5. Romain says:

I think you must be in the building to be aware of the hugeness ;)

Like when I did Bercy in Paris !

oh wow, I can sort of see myself, with a whole bunch of 4um members!!

  7. n69n says:

hee hee, you can see my little flag…SECURITY broke off the stick, but i still got to wave my fabric!
    :D

  8. Toccata says:

He, everyone seems so into it, especially the guy in the striped sweater (Damian?) :-)

  9. Susulaf says:

Ha Ha, I can see myself in the front row bouncing like a fool. I am in black with the long brown hair to the left of my friend Jason who is wearing a baseball cap!

  10. Susulaf says:

Oops, I meant to the right.

I can see you too, Sue! No wonder you got such a good photo of Johnnyfingers.

Heheh, I was in section 46 J-4 (not J-3. that’s where i let my friend sit) and I can see where I was sitting in this video, but it is too dark to see me. But I could certainly see you! I think some people in Santo Gold took some pictures of each other on the stage, too. I think that almost the whole pit section had cameraphones. It was awash with little blue-ish rectangles, recording little favorite moments. I had a little Nokia N800, but I was using it to wave a big yellow “Innocence” rectangle around, which was my wallpaper on it for the concert. It’s a little internet tablet, with a touch screen. Not a phone. Not a camera.

But this video is neat, I think there should be a whole video of what things look like from an artist’s or band’s perspective of a crowd…

Jonas, are there more videos you’ve recorded and only show us the best of the best? I hope there’s more for the ‘Touring Volta’ a.k.a. ‘Voltour’ DVD. By the way, when can we civilians buy Drawing Restraint 9 movie? My goal in life is to get on a Bjork live DVD. Sad, isn’t it? Anyway, hope you’re having a grrreat vacation!!!

  15. Jónas Sen says:

I do, but they are either not very good, or simply too personal. I’ll try to shoot some interesting videos in South America!

  16. travlr1 says:

Jen, Drawing Restraint 9 is considered more a piece of artwork, and it is shown in limited release in places, and I don’t think that Matthew Barney intends to put it on DVD (though if I ever meet him I will get on my hands and knees and beg him for you, and all the other Bjork fans, LOL). I think it’s playing somewhere in Canada, but when I first moved to the City I was lucky enough to catch it playing at the IFC Center, at one of the midnight showings. I’ve seen it, and was extremely lucky to have seen it, so long after it’s release, but I can message you a little bit about it.

And Jonas, you should at least put that clip from MSG in there! ‘Voltour’? I think that sounds neat…

  17. Jen Goes Digital says:

I’ll gladly go see it if it’s playing in Canada, but they’re crazy not to put it on dvd. It would make an easy $1 million which could be donated to Smekkleysa. I’m just full of advice this week. lol

Have you seen the trailer of DR? It is on YouTube somewhere, I don’t have the URL. But it is the funniest trailer I have ever seen. If you find it, please post the link here…

It must appear funny because you actually know these people.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of it, but refrain until I can watch it all in order. Romain and I will just watch it at your house. Just kidding. I LOVE the soundtrack.
