Dear people… due to various factors I will be blogging less in the coming days. Hopefully though, some of my tour mates will be taking it up. After all, the Volta Blog was meant to be done by “various members of the entourage.”

So, go for it, guys!

Well Björk surely reads this blog. I think she spends much time on the internet than we think. Personaly, i coudln’t restraint myself to not respond to some topics or things said about me. But every appearance of Björk on a forum became an “i love you” thread…

Las time she answered something on her Forum, some guys told her “you are a copycat, you stole Matmos’s spirit for your album”. That certainly does not encourage you to answer anymore.

Björk, i think people here can handle the fact that you would post. It would be nice. I have to admit that i don’t understand why you never posted anything. This is a blog about you tour… Well, maybe you have nothing to say about it. But i doubt it… ;-)

What about the Wonderbrass? How do they handle the crazyness of touring?

And does Gabriella live in Brussels?

If Björk should happen to say something in here……then 6 billion people will come on the blog and our intimate circle will be breached. I like the fact that it is just now the perfect amount of people to actually meet some day and perhaps even get exceptionally drunk together.

Maybe she could just use a code name……like Eurynome or something. Befitting I am sure! Then I could ask her a question that has been passed around quite a bit lately……if she believes that a music writer’s melody and movement from note to note is a direct reflection of his or her linguistic syntax. Some people believe this and since she has worked with people from all over the world and heard their languages and their music, she would be the perfect person to ask! I find the prospect incredibly interesting…..what does everyone else think? So if someone comes from a trilingual household, is it easier for him or her to someday create the perfect song? Or could that person’s music potentially be more universally accepted because of exposure to multiple phonetics?……I swear I am a geek but this is the crap I think about.

Have fun in South America Jonas!

I think it would be nice to meet someday actually with the other people who have been posting in here, and getting exceptionally drunk. Any objections? You, too, Jonas! How about NYC? There are plenty of bars to go bar-hopping in, wonderful clubs, and *sometimes*, other people we know and love are here, too, when they aren’t busy touring…

Yep! If you all come back to Brussels, let’s drink some beers at the “Archiduc” with the Brass Girls. If they would like to… There must me so many people around you, i understand that you don’t care about little fans posting on the blog… haha

If I were in South America, near a beach, I would probably not be near a computer either. :)

  12. mihfolya says:

Yeah, it’s obvious, Jen… Perfectly right!

I wonder what songs they’ll do tonight. I can’t wait to hear about it!!!

B is much more mature then you think and abel to handel herself more than random internet protectors.
Funny people trying to keep her for the “little” circel here like nobody else reads or would enjoy inclusion.

    Open up and share.

    hey
    hahahha
i got drunk with bjork’s crew after the show in Curitiba, @ the hotel… i forgot the name.
I talked with the engineer of sound and the trumpet player of wonder brass - (i’m so bad with names, sorry).
i really got excited to participate with the people of the band, and i got nervous around bjork (i wish i could say to her how much i apreciatte all of that emotion, but maybe i said that on the show screaming @ São Paulo and Curitiba).
And it was funny that i did stay in silence, ’cause i was wishing that that moment could last more time, maybe forever, and i didn’t say a word to her. But we looked each other also, and i couldn’t hide my pleasure and emotion, but i think she didn’t like to see some “devoting” fan looking at her that time, ahhahaa.
it should be hard to live with that sumetimes, i understand.

    But,
    if you guys can listen,
thank you for those concerts, it represents a lot for my life, and seeing u guys having a good time made have a lovely time.
I wish i could talk to the trumpet player…. we talked but she went away.

    Yeah, gracias, alright!
Good luck everyone, big spells of love for each one of you!
