Happy Birthday Björk! You and your entourage’s short time in Chicago is still resonating with us; we rarely are able to encounter such majesty and talent. Please come back sometime, and please keep making music that astounds and delights the world… so rare, so beautiful. Thank you.

Belated but heartfelt Happy birthday to Bjork. Been sat underneath an Oil platform on a ship for two weeks with no internet access hence the delay. Got to ask if Bjork knows about the sea organ in Zadar Croatia? A set of concrete steps that resemble a mouth organ. Wonderful deep rich base tones made by the action of the water pushing air through tubes. As soon as we heard it we thought of ‘B’
Love light and peace

Ok so the blog exists no longer??
Just wondering.
Does anyone like Poi Dog Pondering? They are playing at Joe’s Pub in January and I am looking for someone to go.

It was (nearly) orphaned for a while, because Jonas Sen was away. He’s on board again, so I expect it to restart.

Greetings to all the readers and the posters. I would like to invite all of those attending the Bjork show in LA to stop by the Broadway Bar for some pre-show champaigne. The bar is only a few blocks from the Nokia Theatre. My friends and I will be there around 7:00PM. Last time I was there the juke box had a Bjork album.

lavacoolsme: maybe leave it be. what matters is he’s back, right? is he back though? that’s awesome if so. …I can’t believe how long the tour is going on for. It’s insane. It’s like unending. …but I guess it makes sense it would take this long if they take a month in between for vacation. I’m sure after this, she’ll keep a low profile for a while. It’d be understandable. …anyways, life happens in between all of these concerts. and all the ups and downs. …and knowing how hard it is to get an ensemble together, myself. (it seems to get harder exponentially, the more people you add onto a group of musicians rehearsing or performing) …it’s easiest by yourself or in a duo, and then it just gets more and more complicated getting peoples schedules and lives to coincide and work together, and all be there on time. It’s a pain, really. So I’m impressed she can manage to keep this tour together for so long. It seems like one big happy family. Hats off to all the musicians involved in the tour!

So, how were the last shows? Seems like no one wants to share that with us. I wonder how it was for Jonas to re-join the band. How do Damian or Mark or Chris or the Wonderbrass live that tour… Even how Björk “herself” lives that. I’m aware that one post of her would lead this blog to crazyness. But on the other hand, i don’t always get that sort of mystery around her thoughts. I truly understand her relationship with fans and their (our) crazyness. But i’m sure that breaking the mystery is the best way to end the crazyness. Simplicity should be the rule. She has more to do than saying to her fans “hey, thank you, it’s great, i have fun, last show was cool, even if i was scared”. And we have more to do than reading her, and the other ones. But the way this blog worked was cool. Hope to see it re-awake.
