We had a fine show yesterday. At least, I had a bloody great time!

Nothing much to say about it though. Some of us went to another stage right after our own performance, to listen to LCD Sound Systems. I have never heard them before, but I was really impressed with their raw power.

It has been hot today, but I have mostly stayed indoors. How nice to occasionally spend a day in bed, just reading…

Enjoy Melbourne! Sad to miss a Bjork gig in my hometown, but glad the show went well. Just wanted to drop in and thank you for the Opera House show - the most amazing thing that I’ve ever seen xx

You should check out Sarah Blasko in Adelaide. She starts twenty minutes after your set ends. She’s really lovely. :)

MMM, bed… I’m goign to take inspiration and do just that, maybe on the weekend. My best friend gave me copies of Dharma Bums adn The Little Prince recently, I might just hunker down and try out a day of rest and reading.
Apologies for my atrocious punctuation and sentence formation in my last post, I was over excited I think.

I may have said this before, but, Mother Heroic with just you and Bjork on May 23rd 2007, were a few of my most overwhelmingly touched and tearful minutes of my life. I am not even sure how to interperet the lyric, but it gets me right here. *Hand over heart* Your playing was so sincere and you were both so keyed in, I could hardly bear it.
I’d love to witness you guys play together once more, I might just have to save up and say “I’m taking an aeroplane, across the world to follow my heart!”
    Bless Bless.

Jonas- I am looking forward to you performing at the Big Day out tomorrow in Adelaide.
I have my reservations about such festivals even tho we BDO every year (Adelaide often bypassed by many acts so often its the only way to see some great acts).
For this reason My husband and I flew to Sydney to see Bjork play The Opera House concert. It was amazing.
For me , having never seen Bjork perform and being such a an admirer, the show was just a dream. It was moving and on several occasions the emotion almost over came me the music sent shivers through my body and my mind!
We actually stayed at the same hotel as you and the crew and we saw you and of course the Wonderbrass girls and Bjork.
We were too shy, we did not want to disturb or intrude - even tho we just wanted to thank you all for such a beautiful evening!!
    So thank you.
We wish you well for the remainder of your journey.
PS - You can sleep under the trees here in Adelaide - no falling snakes!!!
