Well, tonight was our second to last show in Australia. It was pretty good really, though it sounded unusually loud. I didn’t hear too well for quite a while after the concert.
We arrived in Adelaide yesterday. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to see much, but I did some shopping this morning (I bought a table cloth with aboriginal art on it - it is really nice!).
I did see a koala bear though. It was in the restaurant back stage tonight and am including a photo of it below.
Speaking of restaurants, I’m not too much into hamburgers, but I did try the Australian version of Burger King the other day. It is called Hungry Jack’s - why I don’t know. I took one bite, then stood up and walked out. It was the most revolting meal I have had in a long, long time. Plus there was bird shit on the table! Not exactly appetizing, eh?
On a more positive note: The music of the tour is constantly evolving. There may be some changes to what instruments I will be playing on in Japan and also in the UK, and in addition we recently discussed a major change to one of the songs we have been performing regularly. Glad our work is never a routine!

Awww! Thanks for sharing this pic, so cute!
The changes in music sound very exciting. =)
Sorry about Hungry Jacks, there’s nothing fun about revolting food, especcially when you are hungry. Sounds like you picked up Damian’s Canadian speech manerisms, EH?

Very nice Koala looks ready to take one of many naps. Sorry about the shitty meal, Burger King in the states is great at least their fries and veggie burgers are. Its cool to see the tour conastanly evolving and I’m sure Japan will be great.
Look forward to more exciting blogs!

We loved the show last night! From the feeling and comments of the crowd they were ecstatic to have Bjork play in Adelaide once again. Adelaide fans treasure and appreciate people stopping by to play a show!!
I was glad the audience obliged and finally danced!!!
As much as I struggle with the mass of people I had a wonderful day!
I much prefer an “intimate” concert hence our trip over to Sydney to see the Opera House show.
Sydney was my first ever Bjork live performance!! I could not have dreamed of a more dreamier night, location and ensemble!
That was an amazing show.
Seeing Bjork play live twice in 10 days, now that is a life I could easily grow accustomed to!
We happened to be staying in the same hotel as you and the Wonderbrass girls and of course Bjork.
But we were too shy to say Thank you for a lovely show. We did not want to disturb. Even though we were bursting with excitement inside! (We were even too shy to sit at a table near by Bjork - so we sat on the other side of the area)!
We left our 2 year old daughter Stella at home with my parents and we missed her so very much.
It struck us how difficult touring would be for you all, as well as how rewarding.
Thank you for your wonderful performances.
Wishing you safe, happy & full filling travels “back in time” to Iceland & perhaps a solo tour of Australia at some point?
I really want a “reactor”! it looks like a heap of fun!

Ah la la Mr. Jonas, always complaining LOL.
Have you eaten the Australian meet pie ? Drink a soft Baileys ? That’s good. You were lucky to avoid while you were in New Zealand McDonald’s Kiwi Burger

Glad to know you have great time!!!
Well, Jonàs, you have awaken our curiosity… Can you tell us more about the change you plan to do on this song? (At least which song?) And what instrument we will be pleased to hear played by you? Or do you want to keep it a surprise…
If the tour is planned to come back to Belgium, keep it a surprise. If not, well, tell us! Or you will make me a disapointed fan!
All the best!
