We had a GREAT, UNBELIEVABLE time in Bali. Some of the highlights were consorting with monkeys in a temple dedicated to Shiva, seeing the Batur mountain and going elephant riding.

The latter was a bit scary (it isn’t exactly like riding in a car), but I got used to it fairly quickly.

The weather was also wonderful, though maybe a bit hot.

We arrived in Jakarta today. I should say most of us are now rested and ready for another go at doing music!

    Elephant riding? Great!!!! A picture?

    No bicycle riding? ;-)

It must be very special for Björk to sing in Jakarta, isn’t it? I mean, a lot of inspiration for Volta came from her trip to Banda Aceh. It will be very special to sing “Earth Intruders” to Indonesian people…

I hope you get a good time in Jakarta.

Glad your having a good time. Temples in the east are feast for the eyes as Björks music is for the ears. I’ve done a little elephant riding it wasn’t too scary I trusted that the elephant knew what was up. Hope things are going super and Björks feeling better.
