One morning I woke up in Wolverhampton (we are on a sleeping coach now).
I hate to say it, but Wolverhampton is not the most exciting part of Britain. So I have been spending my spare time composing music and watching DVDs.
Apparently I missed a performance by the (presumably) world’s fattest ballet dancers last night. Obviously SOMETHING is going on here. But the place makes me so depressed that even enormous ballerinas don’t tempt me.
Probably the reason why the music I composed today sounds like a soundtrack for a horror movie.

Well if enormous ballerinas won’t tempt you, nothing will!
But try this out for laughs:
(Be patient till the end, and don’t worry, nothing offensive happens….except the utter absurdity of it perhaps!)

I found this on a “random” search with my friend Jason and the end reminded me of the video for Triumph of a Heart. Bjork and Gondry have competition.

Looks like the dancers at the ‘Canadian ballet’ in Niagara Falls.

Sounds like you’ve been disappointed so far with Britain; it’s not particularly surprising with all the other places you’ve talked about. I’ve always found it a bit “meh”, for lack of a better word…
Just be thankful you’re not much further north! It all gets even worse after the Lake District. *shudder*
I can’t wait until Blackpool next week…It should be an excellent show.
Oh, and I’m not sure if you’ve found out since your blog (I tried to comment but it got lost in the ether), but “bangers and mash” is essentially pork or beef sausages and mashed potatoes. One of the English “delicacies”…

Well you definitely managed to pull it out the bag and do a great show despite being in a dodgy venue in Wolverhampton.
Thanks for the great night Jonas! I loved your dancing during Oceania-truly inspired!
