Unfortunately our show tonight has been cancelled and there is no other show here being scheduled yet. Bjork is ill - and actually most of us have been feeling under the weather for the past few days.

I suggested to Damian that we DO the show - without Bjork. Damian said: “Yes, let’s do a Bjorkaoke!”

What an idea!

Hope she feels better! Record the fans singing.

Oh poor Sheffield fans.! I hope everyone gets to feeling better. I recommend tea with scones and clotted cream….or maybe leave off the clotted cream though it is heavenly. :-)

Sorry to hear Björk is sick. Björkaoke is an amazing idea though! Count me in the next time this happens!

I would be happy to see a Volta concert if Antony sang the whole time and Jonas played like he did on the Bachelorette version on his myspace page. Björkaoke……maybe I could enjoy that only after alot of drinking!

I was on my way to see the gig tonight … is it right that it wont be re-scheduled?… ruined my weekend anyway … typical!

Please send her best wishes from the crazies.

^^ In the above I meant if Bjork couldn’t be there. I’m always happy to see a Volta concert! I do think there should be more Bjork/Antony collaborations though.

All the best and may Björk’s recovery be speedy! May all of you stay in excellent health!

Or at least may all of you be healthy by July 10th so that I can enjoy seeing you in Helsinki! ;)

I am so sad. I was on my way to Sheffield from Cambridge when that ticket agency called. I thought it was a prank at first. I confirmed it when I called their number again.

I am really close to tear now. Cause I have exam in the next few weeks! So probably i cannot go even if they reschedule!! I wish they will reschedule it during half term: 23 May-30 May!!!! or I dunno when I can see a bjork gig again in my life……………………………………………..

hope all of you guys in the volta tour get well soon!

and wish all of us who spent our time in the past few months busy booking tickets and persuading friends to go and dreaming of this big day good luck! Hope that all of us can make it to the new date!

Hope she gets better soon. It’s a shame, ’cause you were all abso-bloody-lutely in Blackpool! Best gig I’ll ever go too. Your keys were brilliant, especially during Vokuro and Bachelorette, and the whole thing just seemed together perfectly. I was tempted to yell “I read your blog, Jonas!” at the start, but I thought it would seem a bit weird…It was a nice suit you had on too.

Bjorkaoke would be brilliant…you could organise a secret tour for people to come along to!

Incidentally, was it ’cause of Bjork’s illness that it took a while for you to come on stage?

Hope Björk and everybody feels a lot better. It wouldn’t be too bad of an idea at the end of the tour to have a Bjorkaoke gig or pre show performance. Most important is that everyone gets better as soon as possible!

    Love and Warmth,

Bjork need to rest for a while…i think. I am very sorry for her but she is great and she will be better soon.

I have a question…I hope that somebody can help me. Do you know the name of the artists of the paints that Bjork uses as visuals during Vespertine Tour? Those images of shellfishes and invertebrates…. I guess that he is Albertus Seba but I am not sure of it. There are so much acient artists of this kind of art. Some years ago there was a news in bjork.com speaking about it, but I can not find it.

    Thank you very much,

    Dario.

Needless to say we are absolutely gutted, had been looking forward to this show all year. Now praying with all my heart for a new date, please keep us informed Jonas. And may I say how much all of the visitors to this blog appreciate so very much that you take the time to post on here and give us all an insight into your side of the story.

I wish all of you a nice rest and that those who are unwell make a full and speedy recovery :>)

Hope you enjoyed sheffield nonetheless, it’s a wonderful city xx
