She just decided out of the blue "Let's open with a song I haven't played live in seven years?" The youtube footage really brought back memories of when Dancer was released at the theater in 2000. VH1 covered it for hours that day. I regret not taking a picture of the independent Parkside Theater in Buffalo, whose marquee read, "BJORK in Dancer in the Dark." I have never been to a concert where the security were man handling people into sitting down! It was mad! And the Italian people - so tame! This is not what I remember.... what's happened to them?!?!? [something in the water?] We were 5 rows from the front and continually told to sit down! "What, it's a concert not an opea was our reply". The worst part came at the end - when 3/4 of the FRONT ROW remained seated during declare independence. With a light clap at the end. Proof that seated concerts don't always work. I was ashamed of the Italians at the show. Come on, get off your seats & declare your independence! It's okay to enjoy yourselves!!!!
