Yesterday, four more DVDs in the Directors Label series were released: Anton Corbijn, Jonathan Glazer, Mark Romanek and Stéphane Sednaoui. Featured on the Stéphane DVD is, besides the videos he did - 'Big Time Sensuality' and 'Possibly Maybe' - a rare, night-version of 'Big Time Sensuality', a short interview and a previously unseen animated video for 'Army Of Me'. A quote from the interview:
Björk: I had seen the red hot chili pepper video, the black and white and silver one, and I wanted to do a video to a song called 'Big Time Sensuality', and I was very aware that I wanted it to be quite different from 'Human Behaviour', which is more sort of epic story telling... that 'Big Time Sensuality' was more of a personal statement that has to be very in your face.
Stephane: I discovered her music before the album [Debut] was released, and I was like 'ahhhh! What an amazing artist!". It is so fresh so pure so powerful
and right away I contacted her and there was a song that I loved but she had just done the video for, or she was just about to do the video for
and she told me about 'Big Time Sensuality". (...) I was in a taxi and I was listening and I looked at the traffic, and I looked at the streets and i thought "it's perfect!"
